Mark Juba’s practice includes general nonprofit, corporate, corporate transactions, compliance, corporate governance, healthcare, privacy, internal and external investigations, government inquiries, mergers and acquisitions, employment, human resources, administrative law, litigation, and related matters.
Mr. Juba also maintains for clients a specific expertise in healthcare and healthcare-related matters across all areas of his practice. Furthermore, Mr. Juba advises clients in both Texas and across the United States to resolve federal, state, local, administrative agency, statutory, regulatory, internal, and external concerns.
Prior to joining Middlebrook | Goodspeed, PLLC, Mr. Juba served as primary counsel for numerous nonprofit, publicly-owned, and privately-held national healthcare entities. Mr. Juba also served as chief legal officer and chief compliance officer for a national insurance holding company that specialized in healthcare, workers’ compensation, third-party administration services, and a segregated portfolio cell reinsurance business. Mr. Juba also served as the director of compliance for the physician-owned network segment on behalf of one of the largest nonprofit healthcare companies in the nation.
Earlier, Mr. Juba served as a corporate and litigation associate in a large mid-Western law firm. In all of these capacities, Mr. Juba’s duties included a broad range of transactional, litigation, corporate, corporate compliance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, human resources, employment, and complex statutory and regulatory matters.
